TRY Enviro Technologies wants everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, magnifiers or voice control, to be able to use this site. We design to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, and we test this website and TRY Academy against them with automated and manual checks.
What we do
- Colour contrast: all text meets or exceeds the AA minimum of 4.5 to 1 for normal text and 3 to 1 for large text and interface parts. Most body text reaches AAA (7 to 1). The measured ratios are listed below, for both the light and the dark theme.
- Two themes: the site follows your device's light or dark setting, and you can switch with the sun and moon button.
- Keyboard use: every link, button and form works from the keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a "Skip to content" link.
- Structure: pages use headings in order, labelled forms, descriptive link text and alternative text for pictures.
- Motion: the background video can be paused with the button on the home page, and it stays still if your device asks for reduced motion.
- Zoom: text can be enlarged to 200 percent without losing content, and pages work on phones.
Measured colour contrast
The ratios below are calculated from the actual colours used on the site. A higher number is easier to read. WCAG AA needs 4.5 or more for normal text.

Text over the background video sits on a dark overlay and measures at least 4.5 to 1. Ratios are calculated with the WCAG 2.2 formula.
Known limits
- Some webinar recordings added by our team may not have captions on the day they are published. We aim to add captions or a written transcript within a week, and on request sooner.
- The background video and process animations are silent and decorative, or explained by the surrounding text.
- Some Academy materials, such as interactive 3D simulators, may be harder to use with a screen reader. Tell us and we will give you the same material in another form.
- Some third-party items, such as the Stripe payment page and embedded YouTube or Vimeo players, are maintained by those companies.
